Tom King to Launch BATMAN / CATWOMAN 12-Issue Series

DC has announced Batman writer Tom King will helm a BATMAN / CATWOMAN 12-issue mini-series with artist Clay Mann. The new series will be published monthly beginning in January, and will alternate with Batman (which will also be published monthly). According to DC, moving both titles to monthly will allow them to better incorporate the Batman title “into the larger DC universe and continuity.”
King sees the new BATMAN / CATWOMAN title as “a chance to do what Morrison and Quitely did in Batman and Robin: launch an ambitious, accessible, beautiful, thrilling new series that concludes years of stories and defines what Batman is, can, and will be.”
King’s final Batman run will be “City of Bane,” beginning in #75 and ending in #85. The team on “City of Bane” will be King, Tony S. Daniel, Mikel Janin, and Clay Mann.
