I stopped at Grandy’s for a cup of coffee this morning and the customer in front of me was upset because he couldn’t order a chicken dinner at 10 am. I mentioned to the store manager that I was given some good advice by a boss many years ago: “You can have any attitude you want, as long as you smile and are pleasant and helpful.” The store manager agreed and offered me a job (which I had to decline since updating the Atomik Pop! website is becoming a full time job). That whole conversation reminded me that Bruce Willis’ remake of the classic Charles Bronson movie DEATH WISH comes out on March 1, 2018. I read the original novel (by Brian Garfield) that the movie was based on many years ago and I’m looking forward to see how the new version compares to that (the book has a different ending than the Bronson movie version).
